Hello everyone and welcome to a new I Love Math Challenge!
This is the fourteenth challenge. If you're new to my blog, you can find more about the challenge here.
Grid is a pattern of horizontal and vertical lines spaced out at regular intervals, forming squares or rectangles.
Nonogram is a puzzle in which cells of a grid must be filled or left blank, according to sets of numbers given at the side of the grid, to reveal a hidden picture.
1. A double stitch forming an X in sewing and embroidery.
2. Needlework made with X-shaped stitches.
GORGEOUS!!! Beautiful design, layout, elegant and modern look, beautiful sentiment and script, lovely stitched scene... I want to go to Greece right away. ♥ I love Valentina's challenge theme and her take on this challenge theme. ♥ Jump over to Valentina's blog and find more details about her card. :o)
Here is Neha's take on the challenge. :o)
I wanted to try and learn for a long time embroidery cross stitch technique. I tried it for the first time two weeks ago. I bought an Aida fabric and some embroidery threads in my local store, found some lovely patterns, templates and how to on the web and started learning cross stitch. It's so relaxing and I love it. :o)
I found a lovely bumblebee cross stitch pattern on D.M.C. web page. I embroidered the bumblebee on the Aida fabric using 100% cotton embroidery threads. I used cross stitch and back stitch (for outlines and details). When I was finished, I placed my embroidered piece in a frame I found in our house. :o)
I like how my bumblebee turned out and I'm sure this won't be my last embroidery project. :o)
