First up is this set of Snowflakes Mini Cards.
Idea for this set of mini cards was born when I was making Three Snowflakes Cards. I mixed too many structure paste and tempera color, and had leftovers. I didn't want to throw away colored structure paste and I needed a lot of Christmas cards, so I grabbed some cardstock paper, cut it on same size squares (11 of them) and spread colored structure paste using lovely stencil from Create a Smile 'Snow Dance' kit to cardstock panels. I left them air dry one day.
After drying, I glued 3-D foam pads behind panels and glued them on white card bases. Simple and very easy to create and I didn't throw away any materials. :o)

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful flurry of snowflake cards! I love how you used such a beautiful rich shade of blue and how you made the snowflakes blue and your background white. The simple color palette is so striking and I love how clean and crisp these cards are. You did a wonderful job on these and I'm so glad you shared your stenciling skills with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
