Autumn Squirrel Card (KBD Aloha Friday Challenge #84 Mid Inspiration)

Happy Friday everyone! :o)

Today I'm sharing a mid-inspiration project for an ongoing Aloha Friday Challenge at Kitty Bee Designs.

The challenge for this fortnight is #84 - Fall (Autumn) Colors.

For this challenge I made this CAS (clean and simple), one layer, Autumn Squirrel Card, using our sponsor's ADORABLE image 'Autumn Squirrel' Digital Stamp.

How I made this card...

I made a layout on my computer and printed it out directly on a card base, for which I used Canson XL Mixed Media 300 g Paper. Perfect paper for one layer cards, which I LOVE to make, and it loves all kind of media. Love it! :o)

After an hour of drying (to prevent ink smearing), I watercolored the image with Distress Inks and dried it with Heat It Tool.

Then I stamped sentiment 'grateful' partly over the image. The sentiment is from Jane's Doodles 'Thankful' stamp set.

Lastly, I highlighted the image and sentiment with white pen and my card was finished. :o)
