Party Balloons Card (LMMS Challenge #151)

Hi everyone! :o)

Today a new challenge started at Little Miss Muffet Stamps Challenge Blog. It's #151, Anything Goes Challenge.

For this challenge I made this CAS (clean and simple), one layer, Party Balloons Card.

How I made this card...

For this card I used an adorable LMM's Forgotten Scraps 'Celebrate Balloons' rubber stamp. I stamped the image directly on a card base and a word 'party' in the top balloon. For the card base I used Canson XL Mixed Media 300 g paper. Awesome paper!!!

Then I colored the image in watercolor technique using Distress Inks. First I colored ground and shades and after drying, gift box and balloons. When I watercolor, I prefer to start with darker colors/shades and continue towards lighter colors/shades. In my opinion, results are better and it's much easier to clean mistakes when coloring in this order. :o)

Lastly, I highlighted some parts of the image with white pen, glued various blue enamel dots around the image (they look like confetti) and my card was finished. :o)
