Today is my turn to be on the spotlight over at Jane's Doodles and I made this Thanks a Latte Card. :o)
To make this card I used stamps from gorgeous Jane's Doodles 'Coffee Time' stamp set.
I stamped coffee cups and pots randomly on a panel, for which I used Canson XL Mixed Media Paper. I colored images in watercolor technique using only one Distress Ink Color: Ground Espresso.
While the panel was drying, I heat embossed a sentiment in white on a Kraft cardstock paper.
Next up was assembling the card. I glued various cardstock paper stripes on the bottom of a white top folded card base, glued the colored panel on the card base, added 3-D foam on the sentiment stripe and glued it on the card.
As a finishing touch, I embellished the card with enamel dots.
Card dimensions: 84 mm x 127 mm (3 5/16" x 5")
