Hi everyone! :o)
This is my second post today. If you missed the first one, just scroll down or follow a direct link here.
Last Tuesday, January 5th, 2021, a new challenge started at CASology. This fortnight's cue word is Memories. :o)
I didn't manage to prepare my blog post earlier, so I'm bringing it today as mid-inspiration. There's still plenty of time to join the challenge, which ends on Monday, January 18th, 2021, 9 AM, CDT (UTC -5).
And here is my take on the challenge: CAS (clean and simple), Thinking of You Black & White Card. :o)
My card is a CASE (copy and share everything) of a card I shared in my first blog post today (here).
For my card I used beautiful Jane's Doodles 'Hope' digital stamp for charity and a sentiment from Jane's Doodles 'All Occasions' stamp set.
Jane of Jane's Doodles drew the beautiful 'Hope' digital stamp for charity to sell for $5 to raise money for all who are in need and suffering the effects of earthquakes in Croatia.
Jane already donated an amount received by January 5th, 2021, but is keeping the image in the store to raise even more money and to donate it where needed. Please check all the details on Jane's Doodles blog (here). Thank you all who joined or will be joining this noble action. ♥
How I made the card...
First I created a layout on my computer using the digital image and printed it on a white cardstock paper panel.
I glued the panel on a black side folded card base.
I heat embossed the sentiment in white on a black cardstock paper. After an embossing powder set down and cooled, I cut the sentiment to a desirable shape and size, glued 3-D square foams on the back of the sentiment stripe, glued the stripe on the card and my card was finished.
Card measurements: 133 mm x 102 mm (5 1/4" x 4")
