Thinking of You Card B&W Card (CASology Week #381 mid-inspiration)

Hi everyone! :o)

This is my second post today. If you missed the first one, just scroll down or follow a direct link here.

Last Tuesday, January 5th, 2021, a new challenge started at CASology
This fortnight's cue word is Memories. :o)

I didn't manage to prepare my blog post earlier, so I'm bringing it today as mid-inspirationThere's still plenty of time to join the challenge, which ends on Monday, January 18th, 2021, 9 AM, CDT (UTC -5).

And here is my take on the challenge: CAS (clean and simple), Thinking of You Black & White Card. :o)

Design defined:
Black & white cards with a lot of white space work well in CAS design.

My card is a CASE (copy and share everything) of a card I shared in my first blog post today (here).

Jane of Jane's Doodles drew the beautiful 'Hope' digital stamp for charity to sell for $5 to raise money for all who are in need and suffering the effects of earthquakes in Croatia.

Jane already donated an amount received by January 5th, 2021, but is keeping the image in the store to raise even more money and to donate it where needed. Please check all the details on Jane's Doodles blog (here). Thank you all who joined or will be joining this noble action.

If you like, you can read more about the earthquakes situation in the central Croatia that I shared on my blog earlier today (here) and on December 30th, 2020 (here).

How I made the card...

First I created a layout on my computer using the digital image and printed it on a white cardstock paper panel.

glued the panel on a black side folded card base.

heat embossed the sentiment in white on a black cardstock paper. After an embossing powder set down and cooled, I cut the sentiment to a desirable shape and size, glued 3-D square foams on the back of the sentiment stripe, glued the stripe on the card and my card was finished.

Card measurements: 133 mm x 102 mm (5 1/4" x 4")

List of supplies:

hope you'll like my today's card and get inspired. For more inspiration, check out GORGEOUS cards my Design Teammates and our Guest Designer created. Do join us in this challenge, we are looking forward to see your CAS creations. :o)
