Hi everyone! :o)
Today is my turn to be on the spotlight over at Jane's Doodles and I made this Rainbow Striped Birthday Card. :o)
I love simple cards using only rainbow colors and a sentiment, like I did on two rainbow striped cards I made in the past (here and here).
I went with same design as on a card set I created last month (here), I just used rainbow color palette for my today's card. :o)
To make this card I used stamps from two Jane's Doodles stamp sets: Patterns and All Occasions.

How I made this card...
First I inked a stripes stamp with VersaMark Watermark Ink. Then I inked the stamp with a Distress Ink, directly over the Watermark Ink. I pressed the inked stamp directly on a white cardstock paper panel, removed the stamp and washed it well with water and soap. I repeated same until I stamped whole panel, following rainbow color palette. I left the panel to dry on air for half an hour, just to be sure not to smear anything. After drying, I glued the panel on a white top folded card base.
Then I heat embossed a sentiment on a black cardstock paper. I didn't heat emboss the sentiment perfectly, so I used black fine liner and white pigment ink to fix it. :o)
I cut sentiment stripe, glued 3-D foams on the back of the sentiment stripe and glued it on the card. Quick and easy. Love it! :o)
