Wedding Card no. #6

Hi everyone!!! :o)

Today I want to share with you a Wedding Card I made for a couple that got married on Friday, three days ago. I made it by request for an acquaintance. I personally don't know the couple, but I wish them all the best in their common life, a lot of love and understanding. :o)

To make this card I used BEAUTIFUL Stamping Bella 'uptown couple BRETT and BRENDA get married' rubber stamp. This is my sixth take on this stamp. If you like, you can find my previous cards using this image herehereherehere and here. :o)

How I made this card...

On this card I wanted to achieve Sepia look, so I used only one color for coloring a Distress Ink Vintage Photo.

I stamped the image on a watercolor paper panel and watercolored it in watercolor technique.

First I watercolored a background. After drying, I masked the image (I stamped another image on a white paper scrap and fussy cut the image), splattered the background and dried the panel with a Heat It Tool.

At this point the panel was quite buckled, because I didn't fix the panel to a working surface. I placed the panel between printing paper sheets and run it couple times through Sizzix Die Cutting Machine. Flat. :o)

Next up was the couple. I watercolored them, adding more color and layers on darker parts and less color and more water on lighter parts.

When I was satisfied with my coloring, I glued the panel on a white top folded card base and the card was finished. :o)

Lastly, I made an envelope from a brown baking paper and sealed it with a gold sealing wax and a sealing stamp 'Best Wishes'. This was the first time I used the sealing wax on my project. Sadly no photos, as I forgot to take them.

Card measurements: 95 mm x 146 mm (3 3/4" x 5 3/4")
