Hi everyone! :o)
Today is my turn to be on the spotlight over at Jane's Doodles and I made this Have a Cozy Day Circle Card. :o)
To make this card I was inspired with a card I made for our Jane's Doodles New Release Blog Hop, which started yesterday. Same design, but totally different living room. :o) There is still some time to hop with us and to enter the giveaway. Find all details in my blog hop post (here).
How I made my card....
With some masking, I stamped a living room scene on a watercolor paper and cut a circle shaped panel on my Sizzix machine using a wonky stitched circle die cut.
Then I drew a line to separate walls and floor and stamped a sentiment on the panel.
Next up was coloring. I watercolored the scene with Distress Inks. After watercoloring a floor, a plant, furniture and other details, I worked on wallpapers. First I drew black diagonal lines with a black fine liner and then blue lines with Distress Ink and a paint brush. I used ruler to measure and mark distance between lines, but I drew them all free handed.
Then I created a card base. I die cut two more circles on the Sizzix machine using same wonky stitched circle die cut. I glued together two circles on the top and created a card base, same size as the panel. After drying, I glued the panel on the card base.
As I finishing touch I drew white highlights with a white pigment ink pen and my card was finished. :o)

I used stamps from two Jane's Doodles stamp sets: 'Cozy Up!' and 'Plants'. :o)
