This is my 2nd post today. If you missed the first one, just scroll down or follow a direct link here. :o)
For today I prepared this Cozy Day Masculine Circle Card using stamps from the set. :o)
With some masking, I stamped a living room scene on a watercolor paper and cut a circle shaped panel on my Sizzix machine using a wonky stitched circle die cut.
Then I drew a line to separate walls and floor and stamped a sentiment on the panel.
Next up was coloring. I watercolored the scene with Distress Inks. I wanted to create a masculine card, so I decided to go with black+grey+yellow color scheme.
After watercoloring a floor, books and furniture, I worked on wallpapers. First I drew black vertical lines with a black fine liner and then yellow and grey lines with Distress Inks and a paint brush.
I used ruler to measure and mark distance between lines, but I drew them all free handed. I tried to drew the pattern on a scrap paper and used ruler for straight lines, but I didn't like it as much as free handed drawn pattern. :o)
Lastly, I glued the panel on a same size white cardstock circle and glued it on a black circle card base, which I made by gluing two black circles together on the top. :o)
