Flying by to say hi Card (IC #2)

Hi everyone! :o)

Today I want to share with you this Flying by to say hi Card. :o)

This is a DOUBLE CIRCLE SLIDER SPINNER CARDI made this Interactive Card (IC) for my Celebrating 30 Days of Pisces 2019 personal challenge. If you want to find out more about it, just follow the link provided. :o)

This is a second type of IC I made for my challenge. I made 15 different types of interactive cards during Pisces period, which was my personal challenge. As I don't have a lot of die-cuts, I used all possible tools I have, combined this and that, planned, sketched... I completed my challenge, achieved my goals and had a lot of fun. I wrote a short review about the challenge here.

I have made circle slider spinner card in the past (here), but never double. Inspired with my own IC #1 card set that I also made for the challenge (here), I  thought it would be fun to give it a try.

How I made this card....

To make this card I used super cute paper planes and a sentiment from Lawn Fawn 'Flying By' stamp set :o)

I colored images during Kathy's Racoosin 12th 30 Day Coloring Challenge. You can see all my coloring samples during the challenge here.

I stamped paper planes on a watercolor paper and watercolored them using a Distress Ink Hickory Smoke. After drying, I fussy cut paper planes and traced their edges with black marker.

I stamped more paper planes on a white cardstock paper, colored them with black marker and fussy cut them, this time leaving white thin border around paper planes.

Then I glued all images together. I glued watercolored paper planes over black colored paper planes. I did this because watercolor paper I use is thin and I needed thicker images. :o)

I ink blended clouds through a cloud stencil I made by myself (how, I described here) on the white cardstock paper. After drying, I cut a circle in the stenciled paper using EK Success Circle Cutter.

I stamped the sentiment and die cut concentric circles twice on the cloud panel.

For a card base, I cut two circles in the white cardstock paper, slightly larger than the cloud circle panel, using EK Success Circle Cutter and glued two circles together on top.

For slider mechanisms, I used die-cut circles in the white cardstock and plastic letter beads I have in my stash for a while. I made two same mechanisms. I glued two die-cut circles together. Then I glued the bead on glued circles and repeated same for another mechanism. I didn't use any special glue. I used UHU all purpose liquid glue.

With all parts ready, I assembled the card. I glued cut out circular belts directly on the card base (2). Then I glued 3-D foams on the cloud panel (1), placed slider mechanisms on the card base and glued the panel on the card base. I glued 3-D foams on inner circles (3) and glued them on the card base.

Lastly, I glued paper planes on slider mechanisms and my card set was finished. :o)
