This is a tenth type of IC I made for my challenge. I made 15 different types of interactive cards during Pisces period, which was my personal challenge. I completed my challenge, achieved my goals and had a lot of fun. I wrote a short review about the challenge here.
I learned how to make this type of card from Jennifer McGuire. Such a clever design. Love it!!! Here is a link to Jennifer's video tutorial: Ribbon Slider Cards. :o)
I loved Jennifer's card with a snail in the video and decided to go with same theme on my card. Thank you for the inspiration and tutorial, Jennifer!!! :o)
First I made a card construction. I followed steps from Jennifer's McGuire video tutorial.
Next up was an image. I used SUPER CUTE tiny snail from Najlepši par 'Igrivi palčki' stamp set. I received the set as a happy mail present from my friend crafter Valentina of Barvito malo mesto. :o) Love the set sooooo much!!! :o)
I die cut a wonky stitched circle from a white cardstock paper and stamped the snail on the circle. I colored the snail with colored pencils and coated his house with a transparent varnish to create glossy accents. I left the image dry for couple hours.
After drying, I glued 3-D foam on the circle, glued it on the card and my card was finished. :o)
