I die cut 11 butterflies, 10 in various colored cardstock paper and one in white. I used only outline die cuts and rest I left for my other projects.
I stacked butterflies following rainbow colors pattern and glued them together (I glued only middle parts and left wings unglued).
Then I stamped a sentiment on a white cardsock paper panel and glued the panel on a white side folded card base. I glued another panel inside the card to make it sturdier.
Lastly, I glued a stacked rainbow butterfly on the card and my card was finished. Super fun technique!! :o)
- Happy Little Stampers 'Doodled Flowers' stamp set (sentiment)
- Sizzix butterfly thinlits die
- Ranger Archival Ink, Jet Black
- white cardstock paper
- colored cardstock paper (lavender, violet, dark blue, blue, light blue, light green, yellow, orange, light red, red)
- UHU liquid glue
- Sizzix Big Shot
- Fiskars High Precision Personal Paper Trimmer
- acrylic block (102 mm x 102 mm)
- bone folder
- crafting needle
